1. Where Each
Basket Begins

The gathering of materials. Palm Fronds &other decorative elements are collected regularly

Manila Palm
1 of several palms I use. The green sheath (seen at the base of the leaf) is folded inside out to make my baskets

2. Soak, Cut, and Sew
 I moisten the frond to
be able to fold it inside out,
then I cut and sew them

3. Collaring
I cut and stitch
on the Coconut
fiber collar

4. Roping
I sew on the Norfolk
Island pine branches
as an added detail

6. Preserving

I apply a finish to preserve and enrich the colors
7. Tagging Individual tags identify the plant components used for that particular basket.
5. Adorning
I embellish the basket by adding unique combinations
of natural elements

*I hope that this  gives you an idea of the process, and assures you that you are truly getting a piece of paradise, made with much Aloha.
